i know i just had a thread about adding another center channel and running 20 speakers about 2 weeks ago.

well, now i'm adding two more sets of components

after this i'll be running 2 complete 5.1 sound fields. one in the truck with two banks of 6 audiobahn speakers for the front channels, and a set of headliner mounted clarion components for the rear channels, and a clarion center channel in the dash. then a whole seperate field out the back of the truck with the 23" lcd with sets of clarion 5.25" components for front and rear channels, and another srk5 center channel in the same location its in now mounted to my headliner

the mounts for the rear channel speaker for the front soundstage will be very trick, and will somehow hang down out of the headliner.

the towers for the rear channels for the rear soundstage are already under construction and will be two concentric spheres one with the tweeter and one iwth the 5.25 connected with a rod. fiberglass spheres are pretty trick, and i couldn't resist making them that way.

thought i'd let ya'll know etc.

also, i'm running the dvh940 clarion processor for the 5.1 and plII with this stuff.

What, you lost me? lol That was like reading Greek, but sounds pretty sweet!

Where do you park your car again? Your going to have so many speakers that a thief would'nt even be able to grab all your stuff lol.

wow..... I understood it and all... but still wow!

The rear soundstage will come from spheres hanging from the roof?

Wow.
So when are you slapping on a supercharger to make up for the 500 lbs of speakers?

0-60: 11 seconds
1/4: 18 seconds
But sounding damn good while doing it!!! :D

wow, this is crazy, i remember when you had like.. 8 speakers, damn.

my stereo system weighs at least 1200 lbs, my subs and batteries alone weigh 350 lbs, the box weighs about 250, etc. etc.

i think the rear channels in the truck will be more of a kickpanel type design just hanging from the headliner. Its the rear channels that i'll set up behind the truck while at shows that are the concentric spheres.

as for parking the car- i really don't park it many places other than in its garage or at shows. it is still my daily driver so that can be a challenge, but as the saying goes your posessions own you...

expo i wish i could come up with a better compliment but, i'm going to have to steal your ride. then maybe i can work on a trick to get duck hunt to work on that 23" LCD ;)

it would be nice to see all new technology in a car, including subs, crossovers, capacitors, amps, etc. but then keep it real and mount a 8 bit nintendo in the back for everyone to see. that would kick butt. your ride sounds awesome man.

just so we're clear 92xlt4x4 i do have original 1985 nes in my truck, we just can't figure out how to make the gun work with the lcd screen. it seems that no matter where you aim the ducks don't die

yeah i was just messin' with you. i looked into it a little more and there is no physical way to get the light zapper to work with a LCD or plasma screen. it just isn't going to happen. i might just get a power inverter and throw a normal TV and a couple systems in the back so we can play when we tailgate at the Rose Bowl. that old 20" CRT-TV sitting in the closet could use a purpose...
