Hello! New here, recently bought my 3rd. Explorer, had '96, then '99, now '04.

Retired now, but lifetime spent doing technical things, is it OK to ask a lot of questions, without searching past threads for similar ones? I am on IP mandated dial-up service, one provider available here (rural Ozarks MO), so searching is difficult.

Have been considering satellite internet, but their advertised speeds are not really worth 4 times the cost, minimum.

Welcome to this forum! I see that you joined a while ago, but didn't post until now. It sounds like you can't get DSL or cable in your area. It's a good thing that you are able to get telephone service.
