Found out why my A/C doesn't function good

I had my a/c checked out by my a friend of my girlfriends family today. What it all boils down to is my A/C wasn't functioning very well. He hooked his gauges up and it had about 360lbs on the high side. He said someone must have been messing with it, he messed with it and tried to get it back to normal ,with out evactuating the system and so far its alot better. stupid people who owned my truck before messed it up, oh well could have been worse

WHOA ! Dangerously high. That's the trouble with the Walmart low side gauges... people can easily overcharge a system, reducing the efficiency, and potentially damaging the compressor. My advice, BUY a gauge set folks! I know that falls on deaf ears. <sigh>
