HELP!!!! I bought a 2003 Ford Explorer to transport my 19month old and Myself to and from my job. My heat has recently went and since I’m a woman I hate to take it to a garage and spend tons of money, that I don't have. Hopefully I can get some help!!!
What happened was;
I had my heat on for the morning as it was really cold and I needed to get the frost off my window. Later on that day it got really hot and I put on my ac. I totally forgot to turn it off and the next Moring there was more frost on my windshield so I turned my explorer on using my remote start, totally forgetting the ac was still on. When I went and put my son in I realized what was happening and rushed to turn the heat on. When I did put the heat on, nothing but cold air was coming through and I hear a clicking noise. I figured I would just have to give it a minute, so I turned the whole unit off totally. Even though there was no blower on, but the dial was turned towards the heat, there was still the clicking noise. I'm pretty good with replacing things, and would love it if I could do it myself, but I want to make sure that I have step by step instructions, which I could look up on Google if I know what is exactly wrong with it.
Please help
