Front Bumper

Is there anyway I can get the green selected bumper onto the other car. I have a 1999 Explorer XLT to the right and a 1992 Explorer XLT to the left. Can I buy a 1999 Explorer XLT bumper for my 1992 and it fit?

Not without some welding and cutting... the 95+ front bumpers attach to the end of the frame rails and the 91-94 mount on the sides.

I think it would look somewhat goofy, as it sticks out quite a bit on my 96, and with the front end on the 91-94's being flat im not sure how it would look. It would be a cool custom project if you could get it done though

That would be tough, and I would think it would stick out quite a bit, but it would be an interesting project. You'd have to post some pictures if you decide to do it.

Someone posted a pic of a 99 front bumper on a lowered 1st-gen once. I thought it looked awesome, possibly the coolest street bumper I had ever seen on a 91-94. It was a front view, I don't know if it stuck out much. I'd mount it back a little, to put it close to flush, but that's me...
