Front Diff noise

My 06 Explorer 4.0 4x4 started making a clicking / clunk noise, checked it out with all 4 wheels off the ground. the noise is only heard when going slow and is comming from the front diff any ideas where is the best place to get another diff.

Take a real good look at that front U joint before you spend thousands.

WE checked the front ujoint and it was bad. Replaced it in less than an hour and $16.00.
Iam starting to get the feeling that many repair shops are making these repairs appear harder than they really are.
