Hello all! This is my first post here. I'm having a bit of front end trouble. I had my shocks, ball joints, and control arms replaced on the front end 4 months ago. Shortly after, I had to put lithium grease on the control arms to stop the creaking (common problem). I had an alignment then as well.

Last week, I replaced my front brake pads. A few days later, I noticed a little bit of abnormal wear on the outside of my front right tire, and this morning I heard that high "creak" that was coming from the control arms a few months ago. Maybe I'm a little bit paranoid, but I'm wondering what could be causing these issues, and if there possible linked. Also, maybe I did something wrong installing the pads. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thanks a lot guys.

Welcome to the forum! The only thing that you could have done while installing the pads is not correctly torquing your wheel down. abnormal wear can be several different things depending on how it looks and feels. Is there ridges or is a smooth type wear?

Hey Jeremy. It's a smooth wear line. I've gotta be honest, it's not that bad, but I'm a little paranoid after my bout with ball joints and the wear they put on my shoes the last time. I don't know a whole lot about suspension components either. I added some air to the tires today, so we'll see what happens. I just had an alignment a few months ago, could I possibly need another one?

The lugs nuts are as tight as I could get them.

I put more white lithium grease on the control arms, fixed that.
