I am looking for some opinions as to what my be causing my front end to shake. It only shakes between 55 and 70. It is not constant and sometimes won't shake at all. The steering whell shakes a bit also. Sometimes it is faint and sometimes it's enough to shake the hood, this was only seen because there was water from rain.

I have had the wheels balanced twice and I have also switched the front and backs with the same problem occuring. It did this with my old tires and I just thought it was because the where worn out, which they were.

It also shakes when breaking from 70 to 55 or through that speed...like breaking from 80 to 30 to get off highway, but only thru 70-55.

I do have new hubs. My drivers wheel has a bit of negative camber which I need to address.

This is what I think may be the cause, maybe you guys can help me narrow it down.

Tierods
Bushings
Ball joints
Alignment

I have 68k on the clock.

Thanks,
Matt

there lies your problem. get an alignment to fix your problem.

Ya, that was going to be my first attempt to fix the issue.

Thanks.

If that doesn fix it then maybe a bent rim?

Bad ball joints on the driver side. I replaced the upper and lower ball joints and no longer get the shakes.

Yay me...
