The guy that fixes my explorer always does an awesome job. He's done dozens of brake jobs for me and my family. I have a lot of miles on the x (almost 90,000)...it's a '96 sport.
Anyway R. just put new rotors up front and new pads all the way around. The front left (caliper?) brake sticks and shimmys, and almost makes like a grinding noise..it's really alarming.
he said the same thing happened with another X and it's probably a caliper or an ABS problem, but either way it will reset itself or a light will come on after a couple days. It's been a couple days and nothing has happened.
His friend has to computer so We can look at is this weekend but I'm freaked out. Is this going to cost a million dollars? I'm broke and if there's even a temporary solution i'd love to know, thanks for you guys' help in advance, you've helped w/lots of things in the past, thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
