OKay, I know the two swaybar mounts differently, 99's mount underneath the front frame deals, while 96's mount infront of the steering rack. But, my question is are they the same swaybars? I just tried to throw my 96 onto my 99 and my steering fluid cooler gets in the way. Anyone know whats up??

As far as I know, they're the same; but the 98+ bars are solid and thus much stiffer. My front Saleen bar is basically a Ford 98+ bar that was powdercoated red.

wow, the only difference i thought was just the 98-up bar was smaller diameter and solid. i have been planning on a 98-up bar swap. what looks different on them? shape, bends, etc.?

How big are the stock 99 swaybars ?? Did they come in different sizes for one year ?

I'm looking for Hellwigs from JC Whitney ($135 complete) for front or rear. I gotta call them to find sizes as well.

Where else can I get upsized swaybars..I love big bars....:D

as far as i know, everyone's upgraded front bar is just a stock 98-up bar. if you already have a 98-up, you just get the rear bar. if you have a 95-97, you get the 98-up replica front bar and a new rear.
