So I have a 2005 explorer with a 4.0 vin k engine its been a great vehicle till now. It stalled out when driving it home from work. Changed the fuel filter the plugs the fuel pressure seemed low 28/36# so put a pump in it still running like crap. Was going to do a comp check. Got the right side done but this thing is blowing fuel out the left side . any ideas or direction to look? Oh I forgot when it would restart it had no power. If you feathered the throttle you could nurse it up to 50 but not for long. It would slow down to about 20 . so I was figuring plugged filter when this all started

Also the comp on the rh side seems a bit high 190/180/160

When you say left side, are you referring to drivers side or passenger?

Where the fuel blowing out of? Spark plug holes? Disable the fuel pump when doing your compression check.
