So for the second time ever, I ran out of gas. For the record, both times have been in my current ex. I've noticed my fuel gauge is fairly inconsistent, so I've started going off my trip odo. Anyway, it's developed a whole new level of inconsistency. While I was stuck on a bridge trying to start my ex (because it was slightly above 'E'), the needle shot up, showing I had 3/8s of a tank, stayed there, and then dropped back down a minute later. It did this the other day while I was driving, and I assume it did this before I left, because I had ample gas for a San Antonio > Austin trip before I left. Just wondered if anybody has had a problem like this. I'll check grounding when I get the truck back (friends are borrowing it for a move), but I doubt it's a grounding issue. Any help is appreciated!
