First, let me say I'm brand new to the forum, just signed up. Hi everyone. Wanted to share an idea I had for the Sport Trac. Just did a little Photoshop work on a pic of the SVT Adrenaline. The pic I pulled off the net wasn't very good quality to start with so the end result could have been much better but you get the idea. I would love to have this truck with 5.0 Coyote conversion that stylin99 is in the middle of right now. I would also want to throw on an Edelbrock supercharger for 500+ HP. This truck really needs the Mustang 6-speed that stylin99 also installed in his truck.
Couple of questions on this set-up:
1. Can you use the pedal set-up from a Ranger to get the clutch pedal? (stylin99 how did you do it?)
2. With that much hp and torque, would the stock all-wheel drive hold up or would you have to adapt in the set-up from the Expedition/Navigator?
3. If one did decide to stick with rear-wheel drive, could the rear diff handle this power or could it be beefed up or could the diff from the Expedition/Navigator be made to work?
Even though at this point this truck is just an idea in my head, if I ever came across a wind-fall of cash (can we say lottery), I would definitely have it built. Thanks for your comments in advance.
