fuse size

I just got my 2g wire kit, using it for my kicker zx750.1 that is coming Friday. Kicker recommends to use an 80 amp fuse but is this for the wire or the actual amp? I see they use 2 40 amp fuses in the amp. I am just wondering because my main power wire came with a 150 amp ANL fuse.

I am thinking the only other wire I need to fuse is my remote power wire to protect my headunit. Lemme know if I forgot anything.

the 80 amp fuse would be used for the wire. you dont need a fuse for the remote turn on wire either. if you used one, it would only need to be like 2 amps or something really small like that.
