Gates PowerGrip clamps

Has anybody ever used the Gates PowerGrip clamps?

I'm interested in using them to prevent seepage, especially during the winter months. I always have to keep an eye on the hose clamps in the winter; they seem to need a tightening to avoid leakage at startup.
