OK. Now that the white gauge faces are done, now it's time for the needles.

What do you guys think? Do I go with the red or do I go with the blue ?

Dead Link Removed

To me, the red isn't bright enough and the blue is too bright making it leak a lot of light. I'm going to try experimenting with some resistors to dim it a little bit this weekend.

Any comments or suggestions welcome.

Ya i like the a lot..

did you make those gauges are buy them?

IS that black lights on the needles

Well I guess I'll just revert my first message about them, but I will stick with how much of a PITA it was... Thanks for the nice comments and hope you all have more luck installing yours...

The gauges are APC and the needle lights are Sonic Blue

I am in the process of making my X some new gauges in photo shop. i think i will have to invest in some new lights now too.

Will changing the bulbs behind the stock 94 gauges change the color of the dash? For example, if I were to put a blue bulb behind the gauges would they appear blue? Also, how do you change or get to the bulbs behind the gauges?

well if you really like em go for it.
i put about 9hours into mine and wasnt completly satisfied. they did look cool as hell though. its just a pain.

Indiglo Gauge is the best way to go, and u can change the colors with the turn of a switch :D I got it in my truck and lovin' it. My $.02

Ok how exactly do you do this because I got some ideas behind it.

First, explain how to do the needle lights (lol) and another idea is instead of the blue needle/green dim mix, you should replace the green dims with ultra white lights... hmm ?
