Gear grinding noise.

Ever since I disengaged the 4wd on my '90 Bronco ii, there is a grinding noise when i slow the vehicle while in gear. Help.

have you tried going back into 4x4 (and out of it again) to see if that helps? maybe it just didn't disengage all the way.

also, do you have auto hubs?
