hey i am just curious as to wat gear choices wer avaliable for explorers from 91-94. the reason is bcuz i need to find a rear axle out of an explorer with 3:55 gears and i am wondering how common they are. also is there a tag on the rear or front diff cover stating wat gears r in the axle.

A while back I was looking at the 1993 dealer info we had for ours.
If I remember right, I think that there was a 3.08, 3.55, and 3.73. It seems like there was a 4th, but I may be wrong. For some reason, I'd like to say it was 3.27.
Someone may be able to be more confident w/ this info.

3.55's are pretty common, thats whats in mine, wish I had 3.73's
