General sXc membership question

I have just joined the forum a couple days ago. I have been using this site for a while now and figured I should join and help contribute to a great forum. My question is do you have to be an elite explorer to join sXc? I am currently living in TN but I was raised in Florida and will be returning home this summer. I previously lived in Polk Co but we will be moving to Flagler Co and it would be great to find some people to go wheelin' or beachin' with.

Your good the way you are now but being elite it great also.

Membership is free
Any further cost would be to aid club activities. (club decals $10)
The cost of shirts, and etc., will be the responsibility of individual members and not mandatory.
