OK i have a 91 ford explorer 4x4 eddie bauer eddition yadda yadda yadda. I have 239,000 miles on it and have been replacing the engine for about a year. It drives rough and idles way low. check engine light comes on every now and then but not that much. I have done a full tune up replaced every filter and fuel pump and sending unit. Ran a computer test on it and it came up code 14 and 41. The book was for a different year but said it was a Hego sensor and a pip sensor. No damn clue. If somewone knows anything please help me out i love this damn thing. 3 wrecks and can still tow a chevy lol.

A good place to start is the under the hood forum EEC IV codes. The stickies have a wealth of information paticularly the notes on pulling codes.

A code 14 is Profile Ignition Pick-up (PIP) circuit fault and 41 is No Heated Oxygen (HEGO) Sensor detected right side or running lean depending on the test being performed. There is only on HEGO on the 91s.

Do some research, ask some questions.
