Good Idea For Those DIY Oil Change Folks

I've found the best way to change it is first thing in teh morning. After sitting overnight, I never have a drop drip from the filter when I crack the seal.

Also, Ford is making some progress on the filter front. On my parents' Mariner Hybrid, they went to a canister style filter, where all you replace is the element. It sits down inside a reservoir right up on top of the engine and is a piece of cake to change! Heck, you don't even need to crawl underneat for that part!

Don't know if its the right size but as a similar idea to yogurt, maybe try the 2 litre "jug" milk container.... just cut the top off at the right length and hopefully it will slide all the way up onto the old filter and housing. I don't like yogurt and my wife eats those little "single serving" ones.
