I have been snooping on your forum for several years now, stealing information that helps me keep my Xplodr running. It is factory stock, 31x10.5 BFG on stock rims and runs fine. I don't abuse it. Second motor in 2003 (long block from Marshall Motors with 3 year warranty) due to major overheating. A second tranny (A4LD) in 2005 as the first just went south one day and I had a local shop in AJ (who claimed to be Xperts and had a rebuilt one on hand) do it but then missed a cracked flex plate that blew right at 30 days and charged me for all that Xtra work. Last month found a burnt Xhaust valve and magging found both heads were cracked. Also installed new rockers and push rods (hardened by Delta Cam) as they were literally worn out. At least it is all paid off and runs pretty nice for the moment. It needs inside door handles which I will probably make myself and an inner rear door panel, shocks and springs. I would like to sell it and buy a newer model, one with the rounded wheel wells, fully loaded, V8, 5 speed, tan interior and preferrably the green exterior someday but mostly I want to thank you guys for all the hard work and determination in keeping the Xplodr and this forum running.
