Good morning folks. I just picked up a 92 X Sport. I have used the internet extensively for my other car, a 1974 VW Bug, so one of the first things I did was searched out an active forum and.... tadaaaaa here I am.
I am a mechanic of sorts (industrial not auto) and the sum total of my auto repair knowledge has been obtained keeping my antique rust bucket... errrr I mean fine example of German engineering ... running. I bought my Explorer with the express purpose of having something else to drive while I give the bug some much needed and long delayed TLC.
I have been randomly reading threads to get a feel for the site and have already found some incredibly useful information that I will put into use this weekend (Fixing my stuck at 3k RPM indicator).
