Good news from Volant for 04-05 4.0's

I sent an e-mail to Volant regarding if its possible to modify a 02-03 intake from them to work on a 04-05. Now I know this has been addressed, but I wanted to see what they had to say. Well basically they said everything was changed in 04 and I quote "...we are still working on our kit for the 05". So its definitely coming, I'm trying to get a release date out of them now. I don't know if this has been said on here yet before, but its new information to me.

Wow, that's good. Atleast we have something to work with now other than a cone filter and a MAF adapter from KKM. I'd still like to see a K&N kit though.

I found this link for K&N to request an intake system. Maybe if we get enough members to fill out the form maybe we'll get one.

I didn't like volant for 300 bucks I expected the housing to actually fit in the stock space on my '02, it doesn't fit, the hood pin interferes with it, it is in there so tight that it kinks the washer fluid hoses, and hole for the screw that supposedly holds it down is about 1 inch away, so you hear it squeaking while you drive and you loose your washer fluid at times

hopefully for the newer ones they'll get it right?
