Hi there, I need shocks (I think) and I KNOW i want a locker or LSD - but i'm not sure where to get them.

I almost got stuck today in a snow bank (due to lack of a locker - had to switch from 4hi to 4lo...should't really need to...), which i was surprised at...my fenders at at 36" all around....

You think you need shocks? Have you done the "push test"?

I haven't ordered shocks but other stuff I've ordered thru Parts Source (the crappy tire offshoot) has been good, they can order most stuff and prices are decent.

Actully, no i have not, and after a recent tune up (which helped a TON), i noticed a complete lack of any sort of kevlar pad on the torsion bar tabs (or what ever they are called). And i'm sure i could used some wires as well...so i'll have to wait for the shocks, which i only wanted as iv'e lifted my truck, and as far as i know, it's the shocks that limit the down travel.

hey cantspell, your out of toronto, im from windsor. have you tried national 4wheel and offroad in burlington, i think their on harvester. i got a NICE set of trailmaster ng7's from mumblys offroad in the states(detroit) an their pricesare a little better.
