The Taurus was a ground breaking car. we had 2 in the family 91/93 great cars!

When I was in high school I worked for the local Ford dealership. In one day a rep from Ford drove up in a 98-99 Ford Taurus with a 4.6l with a 6 speed. Speedo read 180mph if I recall. He said it was hella fast and would spin the tires up to 4th gear. I was amazed how tight it was in the eninge compartment. Wish I had a pic of it now.
