got a big problem..... its not my system its great but....

ok well i was showing off my system for these hot chicks, and i was bumping it as hard as it could go and I was playing some bass song by masta p burbans and lacs or something and my rearview mirror fell off. thing is the glue didnt break it actually is still glued to the glass and a chunk of glass fell off and the mirror with it.... How can I get this chunk missing in my windshield repaired and how can I get my mirror to stay on reliably? If your gonna say turn down your bass well I've heard that plenty of times before ;>. well its like a big nick on the inside of the windshield, it has a nice crack running thru it from before I got it so replacing it might be ideal but my dad is really mad at me that this happened and he wants me to pay to replace the whole thing but I have 50 bucks right now.... so can you patch the small hole up or anything? And is there anything to do to keep the bass from knocking off the mirror....

and dont glue the the mirro to the next one. just have it on there so it will stay on for normal driving, and take it off for bass competitions and "showing off for chicks"

it will just slide on over the metal post. when you get a new windshield, they put glue on the post and slide the mirror on from the top. if you tell them not to glue it on, then you're ok. or just dont give them the mirror when you get the windshield. then you can slide it on, and take it off when you need to...

Just get some velcro and stick it to your windshield and the stick the other part to the mirror and VOILA! Problem solved.LOL!

Oh yeah, and I've had some pretty hard hitting systems in my vehicles and I've never lost a mirror, so you guy's must be pushing some sick bass. Leenjen I know you are from when you said it made you pass out... it still makes me chuckle to think about it, sorry but just thinking of it...

the funny thing is my system is so low quality dude.... I got it for cheap I just dont have tons of bucks to spend and I wanted some bass in my ride all it is 2 pioneer subs their new ones 450w max is all, a boss 800w 2way amp I mean thats a low quality amp its pretty crappy but the system can hit, but compared to a JL system with a nice amp or some bad ass audiobahns no way its not in the same league...

My dad was so pissed at me seeing that the mirror actually broke the glass I was about to crap my pants when it broke off like that and the girls laughed at me and I drove off not very happy and not with any hot girls in my car.... My dad might want me to sell the system but I am going to do what leenjeen does just glue the post on and not the mirror, and fix my windshield whatever it costs out of my pocket.

Is it possible to fix a nick in the windshield? Its like as if a rock hit the windshield except its on the inside of my car....

So wait you have a small knick in your winshield? I doubt your Pioneer subs and Boss amp could crack your windshield. But if they did the crack will only get bigger and bigger. There is no temporary fix for it. Also don't show off your cheap system...you are just gonna get embarrassed.
