Hey all. Just crawled out from under the 97 ST. Was fixing the trailer light wiring that had corroded away under the previous owners watch. I figured while I was down there I would grease the ball joints and other steering fittings. But there aren't any grease fittings anywhere. The owner's manual says to grease them every 15,000 miles. What gives?

Don't know why they advise that in the manual unless they expect us to grease them with a needle through the grease boot(which really doesn't lubricate the ball and socket). They haven't used grease fittings for years, supposidly permanently lubed until failure. Several of the aftermarket replacement front end parts do have fittings.
