I was greasing my upper /lower ball joints and tie rod ends today when i discovered one of my tie rod ends would not take any grease. I replaced both a year ago so they are fairly new. I took out the zerc fitting and put in a new one and also tried to clean out the opening as best as possible with a paper clip digging around before I put in the new zerc. Still nothing. Is there anything else I can do or do I need a new tie rod end?

Return it if still in warranty, but replace it if you feel its a problem. Pretty important part I would say, and I wouldn't feel right telling you not worry about it. As far as I can tell, mine are original, which have no zerks. But I did replace the seals a few years back because they deteriorated.
