Great Deal, but will it work?

I have an opportunity to buy a 98 explorer with a blown motor for cheap. I have a motor out of a 93 ranger that I am hoping will bolt right in. I have to know if this motor will bolt right in and it the harnesses will match up. I have to act quickly on this deal before its gone....PLEASE HELP!

What kind of motor......I hope not the 2.3 because you'll officially have the slowest Explorer in the world. 3.0 won't be much better. The harnesses will not match up due to the fact that the 93 motor has an OBDI system while the 98 had a OBDII system.
