Greetings All -

Well, as one of the newest members here I thought I would take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Tony and I hail from Shawnee KS. I am currently the owner of a stock red 99 XLT 302 AWD. I ran across this board doing some google searches for what type of shocks I will be putting in the 'X' this weekend. As of right now, I am still undecided.

Lets see here - I am a HAM radio operator (as you can see by my userid) and I love to tinker with anything that requires gasoline or electricity to work. Most of my projects end up either destroyed or unrecognizable due to extreme modification. Thus far my Explorer is right in the middle of those extremes (save the four antenna).

I spent far more time than I should have at work today browsing the forums here and I am excited about the wealth of information here. I look forward to reading more and talking to the members.

Until then have a good evening...

73,
Tony

From KC...but not home

Hey, Good to see someone from around there. I just came across this site today looking for some help with my first 4x4. I got an 87 ford ranger just last week. Right now it is mainly to and from work, but I am contemplating making it a bit more. Like I said in the title, I am from Kansas City. Technically I am from a small town in MO, but I just say KC. It's easier that way. Right now I am at Keflavik NAS, Iceland though. I am not a radio operator, but I am a radio maintainer. Anyway, good to see ya and welcome.
