Just started to take a serious look at the Eplorer as a good go to the country vehicle. I currently own a Toyota FJ and it hurts to drive long distance. The sad part is my new F150 4.6 3v gets better gas milage.... But my wife wont let me get it dirty and its a 2wd.
Any way I want to replace it with something and I think I finaly found it.
To those that have been around these parts for awhile, I ask:
Whats the best year for the V8 4x4? I will be replacing the stock mptor with a "slightly" modified 93 Mustang 5.0 carb motor. I dont plan to get off angle enough to worry about the float bowl. I just want the 4x4 for dirt roads and i already have this show motor sitting here all brand new
Any ideas? And please don't beat me up about the motor. I have to do something with it.
