So my brother came across a gtp supercharger, is there anyway to fit that in the 4.0 SOHC in a 99?

Nope. Although the internals are the same as the T-Bird Supercoupe blower, the case is very different (inlet/outlet positions, etc.) Due to the GTP's transverse engine mounting.

You'll need this:

...and a used T-Bird blower....

or you can look around for different kits/make your own that use the Eaton M62. Really, any number of positive displacement style blower could be made to work, if you can find or make the lower intake plate/adapter. The important thing though, is that it comes from a RWD vehicle, so that the case and inlet/outlet are oriented correctly.

Of course you could also use a centrifugal style blower, or do a remote mount turbo.

Damn, well that suxs, thats a little to much just for the kit, Im sure it is worth it but being a college student with no job that is about impossible, lol. I just want the whine, lol
