guess its almost time for axles and gears

my early bronco dana 44 has stock axles and 3.55 gears, im running 4.0, stock transfer case, automatic with 35s now 37's future... what gears should i go with, my rear end is stock 8.8 31 spline with 3.73s now. i was thinking maybe 4.88s or 4.56s?...??....???

as for axles, i was thinking decent price for running just mud bogs would be yukon axles?

I'd say 4.88's at least if you plan on going to 37's. If all you're doing with it is mud boggin', might as well go 5.13's to get those meats turnin' in the slop better.

I agree with DB 1, no less than a 4.88 and probably a 5.13 if you're going to be running 37's.

yea good point and thats really the highest i can good in the back with a 8.8 is 5.13's
