2000 Ford Explorer EB
So last Friday I'm heading home from work and some dude blows his stop sign and t bones me right in my drivers door.. I'm fine, long story short my Mountie gets totaled out by the insurance company. Once the insurance gave me money for a new truck by some miracle I located my dream truck! 2000 Explorer 5.0 Eddie Bauer with all the subtle little mods I would have done!! Even tho I was sad to see my Mountie go, I guess everything work out for the best. I will have more pics of the EB once we stop getting pounded with snow.

Eddie Bauer Mods include:
Pioneer Double Din Nav w/ ipod hook up
back up camera integrated into the rear bumper (in line with back up sensors, looks factory)
MAC Intake
Gibson Exhaust
BFGs Rugged Terrains
Window Rain Guards and Bug deflector
Bilstein shocks
tinted front windows to match the rears

First on the list, is crystal clear head light housings and 5k hids for the headlights and fogs

Looks great man! Hate to see your old one had to die for you to get it though.

I know! If I had it my way I would have both!!

I hear ya on that. I would love an f150 but I don't know that I can get rid of my ex. I love her to much but I couldn't have both..
Tis life

Glad you are ok. Did you opt to keep the Mountie from the insurance as a parts vehicle/donor for future project? I would have for sure.

I did not. I deff thought about it tho. However I got more money from the insurance because I didn't keep it which allowed me to pick up the sweet Eddie Bauer. Plus we have been getting crushed with snow the past week and it would have been a disaster trying to deal with the Mountie, plus I have no room for it lol

Congrats on the new ride! Your old truck reminds me of my neighbor's. It was parked in their yard for sale. A drunk came blasting through their yard last spring and t-boned it:

Too bad, it was pretty nice. Enjoy your new Ex! :)

Oh man that's a brutal sight!!! Poor mountaineers lol

Alex

Too bad about the demise of your Mounty.

Is there any way you can get your rims from the insurance company? I want some of those for my '99 Mounty.

Dan

Unfortunately the car now belongs to them and I would prob have to pay for them. At this point she's probably already been stripped down at a salvage yard
