I am looking to be a 01 sport trac with 80,000 miles for 6500. Its fully loaded leather the works one owner. But when I put on neutral and turn the know to 4 wheel hight or low all I hear is a click coming from the passanger side. Please advise on this is it a good deal and what else should i look for ohh and the engine light is on and codes pulled were for 02 sensors.

fully loaded means sunroof, I have one with leather too but they all seem to.
does the light come on in the instrument cluster to indicate 4lo or 4hi?
(the light doesn't burn out it's a LED)

take it into a parking lot and turn wheel to lock (all the way left or right) and drive it slowly, the wheels should bind/skip, that means it is in 4 wheel drive.
If it's not doing that - new transfer case or shift motor should be factored into the price. $6500 - it's only a good deal if it looks mint and everything is working (I paid that 2 years ago for mine).

Ohh the lights come on and it clicks. I dont here a clunk or anything. And it has a sinroof foglights color matched bed cover.

ohh it needs new brakes as well and the driver seat motor is going out

You will probably only hear a clunk when it goes in 4low. Don't forget you have to have your foot on the brake and the gear selector in Neutral for it to go into 4low.

It may be the guide and not the motor, the plastic sleeve wears out and starts to bind.

My seat didn't work - seemed like it was stuck, took it out and found the plastic thing on the rail/guide was worn. Got one from another seat at the wrecker, no problems since, trimming/cleaning the plastic piece didn't help.

In 4 low it will feel like your driving a tank if you are on dry asphalt when you try to turn.
