For a while now, the range of my Transmitter was lousy. Within the year I replaced the battery, and it seemed to be fine. But it soon started to act up, and then finally it was dead and unresponsive.
A new battery didn't work, so as a last ditch, I tried reprogramming my transmitters per the owners manual and BOOM, it came back to life. I'm not sure what happened. I have been using the keyless entry a lot, but haven't researched if that had anything to do with it.
All is good now FYI..
