I just bought another Explorer, cant seem to stay away from them
for very long.
Its a 99 XLT 2wd with 5.0 with 3.73 rear gears, 116k miles, leather,
moon roof. Its in very good shape, one owner, never any body or
paint work.
I just got it monday, so I am not used to it, but, when I try to start it
while it is still warm, it just turns over quickly without trying to crank.
I started pushing on the gas pedal, which I know you arent suppose to
do on a fuel injected engine when working correctly. At 86k it had new plugs and wires put on it. Thats all I know about it other than oil changes every 3k from the previous owners.
I need some help on where to start. I was thinking fuel filter or O-2 sensor(s).
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated.
Oh, I paid $5000 for it, did I get a good deal?
