Has anyone done actual tests on custom tunes (SCT Programmers)?

I see that a lot of folks have purchased the SCT Programmer from Henson Performance, etc. A lot of folks also claim big boosts in performance and better fuel economy.

Has anyone done any rigorous testing to determine just how much power these add? Also, has anyone documented real fuel economy gains? If someone had one installed with the messaging center with the live fuel economy data, it would be excellent information.

I have the programmer myself but seat of pants doesn't reveal a huge difference (may be placebo). Also my driving habits vary too much from tank to tank to determine how much of a fuel economy bump i'm getting.

i am considering buying one... i have the ultra gauge which is great for monitoring fuel economy... so if i get the programmer i will definately be able to post results.. i can do instant fuel economy, average fuel economy, average for certain trips.. how much gas im using at idle which i could compare etc..
but unfortunately im probbly a month or so away from a programmer.
