Hatch compatibility

I need to relocate my plate, and was thinking of replacing the whole rear hatch for one with the license plate thing in the center. Which are compatible with the 96? I might just French it in where it is, but I wanted to add a backup camera, so the center placement from a different hatch seems easier to me.
Im going to build a bumper around this hitch with shackle points and flood lights, so no room for a plate. Although I could hang the plate underneath... but then where to mount a camera?

I’m pretty sure a 98-01 hatch will bolt up. You might need the taillights as well, though. These do have the crappier windshield sweep, however. (This can be improved/fixed)
