I am replacing the heads due to a crack. Finally just got them off after struggling with disconecting the exhaust. Had a tough time with the right side head bolt closest to the firewall. It sits under the A/C box that is attached to the firewall and their is only slight clearance. I could only get that head bolt off with a small 3/8 rachet.

My question is: How will I be able to get a torque wrench on this bolt? It looks like I need to take the A/C box apart? But that seems to be a problem getting it back together after the head installed.

For those that have done this, please give me your advice. Thanks!

I can't help with getting to the bolt, but be aware that you need to put new head bolts in. Do not re-use the old ones. Good luck.

Yes, I did purchase new head bolts. Thanks

Anybody with help on torquing the rear head bolt?

any way you can get a crows foot wrench on there.. it wont be 100 percent acurate torque but close and better than guessing by hand
