Well I'm kinda stumped on this fairly severe coolant leak is it possible that this leak could be coming from the lower intake manifold gasket? And leaking onto the head gasket? It's reman engine with less than 400 miles

I don't think the head gasket is leaking. The lower intake gaskets are known for coolant leak issues at the corners
if they are not properly installed in torque steps with additional RTV front & rear.

One of our members had this problem with the lower one piece design gasket (btw. too much RTV).

Now with the two piece design gasket and only RTV at the front and rear no leaks anymore.

If the heads/block are planned and bolts are torqued down in specs the head gaskets should not leak.
What did the remanufacturer say?

Was yours leaking onto the head gasket area? I don't see how the coolant could end up there I had the motor installed at a shop

Was not my explorer, the only pic our member gave us was this.
(I think is the front passenger side)
