I know the hi/low head lights have their separate fuses in the passenger kick panel.
But does the headlight switch have it's own fuse?
Does the switch receive its power from the fuse panel or does the power go to the switch and then to individual fuses
Vehicle is 2007 Ranger 4.0 and automatic

Power from fuse 1 in the underhood Distribution Box passes through fuse 23 in the Smart Junction Box and then on to the Main HL Switch. From the Main HL Switch, it goes to the Multifunction Switch (hi/lo left stalk) and then to the individual low beam fuses (3 & 4) and the common high beam fuse (14).

There is also a separate wire from fuse 23 that goes directly to the Multifunction Switch, bypassing the Main HL Switch. This powers the "headlight flash" function of the Multifunction Switch.

So if I put a relay after fuse one in the underhood distribution box I would control my headlights and taillights . Or does that fuse control something else also

How do I remove light switch? Just had back surgery and it is uncomfortable looking under dash
