Headlamp change problem

Right headlamp went, trying to remove. Says in manual to turn counter-clockwise. I tried, won't budge. Tried wiggling and turning with all i had(i'm not that weak)is there a trick to this

Was your tongue hanging out of the right or left side of your mouth. That could make a difference.
Seriously though, the procedure seems quite similar to my perevious Highlander except that it also had a spring clip to hold everything in place. I have not had to change a bulb in my Ex yet. Did you by chance try the same procedure on the left side headlamp. If it works there, then maybe something is seized or otherwise preventing removal of the right side bulb. Sorry I can't be of more help.

I was thinking the same thing, because everything i could find about it online says just turn counter-clockwise

Don't mean to sound stupid but it is counter-clockwise while facing the front of the vehicle, not while you are facing the windshield, as long as you are turning the right direction just put more leverage on it.

Take the rubber boot off first, then turn the lamp. If not CCW then try CW. I just swaped mine with sylvania silverstar zxe and it took me total of 10 minutez.

really getting pissed off

i tried ccw,cw, tried right headlamp(suggestion from peterk9). it won't budge. The only thing i can figure is that there are 2 screws that need to be loosen(of course i don't have that certain star shape driver) , but i don't think it has anything to do with preventing it from turning.Do i have to pull out or push while turning ccw? At a loss

No screws need to be loosen.
Try slight pushing in while turning. Do not push in too much, it may break something.
