Acquired XLT from company lease, so I am 2nd owner. My boss drove it first, till cargo from truck he tailgated fell on hood smashing windshield. After repairs, I bought it. Still having issues from firewall breaches that were not fixed. Previously owned two F150's. Also owned Surburban, S15 and Jeep Eagle. Eagle is only 4WD I've owned.
Jobs I have personally done on XLT:
replaced radiator, both front door window regulators, driver door lock actuator, fuel filter & pump.
Removed fuel tank to replace pump.
Jobs I want to do:
Fix EGR system, diag code - insufficient egr flow, cause unknown. Plan to test valve, and control solenoid.
Clean or replace mass air flow sensor, intermittent diag code. Bought cleaner specifically for that job.
