Hi all, found this link thru the COBRA FORUM.
I own a 1992 Explorer XLT with the 4.0L engine. I noticed my Temp gauge reading a little high but then dropping back down. It continued to do this thru the whole range of the word "Normal" on the guage. I initially thought the T-Stat was sticking so I replaced it. Still have the problem although it doesn't go quite as high. Was thinking it might be the Temp Sensor unit. Anyone else have this prob?
2nd Item. Continually get a loud "Popping" noise from my left front when it's cold & Windy outside. I've replaced Bearings/Bushings/Brakes/Shocks to no avail. I kno wthere was a TSB out to replace the factory bushings when it was first built. DOne that. No help.
