New to the board. I have a 1999 Ford Explorer EB. It has just passed 215,000 miles and still think it is the best vehicle I have ever purchased. I have tried to post some technical questions, but so far have not seen them on the boards anywhere. If I am doing something wrong, please let me know. Look forward to talking with you guys

Which engine do you have? the 4.0L or the 5.0L?

I have the 5.0 AWD. It is white with the gold trim. Having a few issues with it right now, have posted on the tech board but i have not seen my post show up yet, and I know I am not supposed to ask on this board. But all and all it has been a really good x, very dependable. It had 51k on it when I got it.

Gotcha - I thought you had the 4.0 because the transmissions on the 4.0 start going bad typically around ~120k miles or so.

Having a few issues with it right now, have posted on the tech board but i have not seen my post show up yet, and I know I am not supposed to ask on this board.

It should show up instantaneously. Hmm - post the question again. Should the old one pop up all of the sudden, one of the other moderators or myself can alwys delete or merge the two threads.

Sorry sboggs, I think the tech corner is more for professionals. It is moderated and your question needs to be approved before it will be posted.

Try posting in the other sections that's related to your question. For example, if your question is about tires or wheels, post in the "Tires & Wheels" section -- if its about your transmission or transfer case, post in the "Transmission & Transfer Cases" section.
