My ford squeaks for a second right when it hits operating temperature and then my gauges all turn off. I replaced the alternator, serpentine belt and I’m about to do the water pump. Got any suggestions?
Belt tensioner I just replaced and it’s squeaking the whole time at start. Is there a way to adjust that? This is my sisters car and don’t know much about them
It’s squeaking the whole time now, the belt is just super loose. Even with the self adjusting arm and it has the new pulley on it. The arm doesn’t move much by hand like the old one
Welcome to this forum! There are other belt driven accessories such as the A/C compressor clutch, and the power steering pump. Maybe a bearing is going in one of them?
