Welcome to the forum!

What to you have in mind?

My ford squeaks for a second right when it hits operating temperature and then my gauges all turn off. I replaced the alternator, serpentine belt and I’m about to do the water pump. Got any suggestions?

Have you tried checking the idler pulley or tensioner pulley?

Belt tensioner I just replaced and it’s squeaking the whole time at start. Is there a way to adjust that? This is my sisters car and don’t know much about them

Belt Tensioner arm is spring loaded and self adjusting.

I'm thinking about the pulley itself.

Or there should be another idler pulley in the system somewhere.

One of them could be starting to lock up making the belt stop for a few seconds.

It’s squeaking the whole time now, the belt is just super loose. Even with the self adjusting arm and it has the new pulley on it. The arm doesn’t move much by hand like the old one
