Just joined up.About a year ago I sold my old 89 Dodge truck and bought a 1997 EXPLORER XLT.I bought it for two thousand,knowing it had a few things to fix.The P O had a glove box full of service reciepts where He kept it up pretty good.So far everything has went well.I,m in the slow process of working out some wiring issues which I will post later.It will be 4 days before I can get back on it.Already I have enough info from searching this site to move on to the next step.I will post the problems and the solutions as I go. I wish more folks would post their final outcome of their problems in these forums.It would help out a lot. Anyway,I'm 55,still working,currently for the school system .I'm an Electrician by trade,like fishing,mostly after them crappies! I am married for 33 years,have two kids,1 boy,30,1 girl 21.My son lives in Nashville and is a camera man,works for a video crew and makes his living on tour with a lot of big stars,Kenny Chesney,Sugarland,Eric Clapton,Reba ,just to name a few,He is currently getting ready for a Blake Shelton tour.My girl is a professional bum right now.If She only had a brain! We gave her the 01 taurus that weve had since 02.Our main grocery gitter is a 2000 Windstar Van with 88000 on it.Were hoping to keep it awhile if we can keep it up.Now you understand why I need to be on a Ford Forum! I try to do all I can Myself before I take My vehicles to the shops. So, there's a little bit,see you in the Forums.Thanks
