Hi everyone. I've been readin here for a few months so thought I might as well join up. I am a forever Ford man and have lots of them. I had been using my 77 Ranchero as a daily driver for a couple years and it had simply become unreliable to get get me to appointments etc. In July I started looking looking around for some good basic transportation with heat and air. Found this very nice 2000 XLS AWD for $600. with a bad trans. I bought it, paid my buddy $800. to build a trans and never looked back. It has 175,000. miles and is in great shape. I am amazed at having such a great car with so little money in it.
